Gracieuse Amah-Lead Mentor & Creative Director

With French, Beninese and Togolese heritage Gracieuse Amah is the Founder of Kwabo Events and Kwabo Festival, Creative Director, Producer in participatory and cross art form performances, French Intellectual Property Lawyer, Community dancer and choreographer. Placing community, representation and education at the centre of her artistry, Gracieuse uses arts to promote social justice, cultural dialogue and holistic wellbeing.

Effie Nkrumah

Effie Nkrumah is an energetic and charming multi-hyphenate cultural creative of Ghanaian descent. A contributor in Maxine Beneba Clarke’s Growing up African in Australia anthology, Effie holds an MA in Arts Politics from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Driven by the concept of challenging the single story of Africa through stories of continental Africans in diaspora, Effie creates content that is entertaining, aesthetically pleasing and discussion prompting. Her installation series See What I See has been performed in Sydney, New York, and Accra. Her mission is to ensure people living at the pinpoint of complex intersection, can find a sense of grounding and pride in who they are and a renewed curiosity about who they can be. She identifies and fill gaps, pushing for the authentic, using creative mediums to communicate from her specificity to the world’s universality.

Jenny Le

Jenny is a versatile stage manager based in Naarm/Melbourne with a focus on wellbeing and support. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for all involved. Recent credits include Assistant Stage Manager for ‘Do Not Pass Go,’ ‘Mother Play,’ ‘Never Have I Ever,’ ‘Blak in the Room,’ ‘English’ (Melbourne Theatre Company), ‘Katya Kabanova’ (Victorian Opera), Stage Manager for ‘Time Remaining,’ ‘Mythosoma’ (Chunky Move), ‘The Doll Trilogy’ 2026 Tour (Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre), ‘The Score,’ ‘Goodbye Aunty Flo’ (Ilbijerri Theatre Company), and Props Swing for ‘The Odd Couple (Crossroads Live).
