I used to hang with people who never fit in, just like me. Depressed, low on self-esteem, chasing validation through trouble and bad influences. Living on the edge felt good, but it left me empty.
I wrote raps, poems, ideas, pouring it all out. Open mics became my outlet, a place to let it all flow.
Reconnecting with my love for dance as a way to reconnect with something that brings me joy. I now dance freestyle, street dance, break. I fight my own doubts in every move, pushing through the past. And when the beat slows, I pose confident, grounded, at peace, full of gratitude. This is my fire. This is me alive.
