Si Murgha

The Simurgh is a magical, legendary bird from old Persian stories. Its name can mean “30 birds,” but this could be about its age, size, or colours. Some people also say it means a special group of wise birds who know hidden things.

The Simurgh is very old in Persian folklore, appearing around the 10th century BCE. It is the king or queen of all birds and is a kind protector of nature. It is very wise, knowing many things from the past and understanding all languages.

The Simurgh also represents immortality, because it lives a long time and can renew itself by burning in fire and becoming young again.
